Corn Aloo Tikki

Tikkis or kebabs or cutlets, watever this pan fried round shaped patties are kid's favourite, serve it with ketchup or as sandwich between two bread slices, these tikkis or patties makes a filling snacks or as a meal in a kid's lunch box. However tikkis are excellent foods when prepared with varieties of vegetables. Mashed potatoes mixed with grated or cooked vegetables makes delicious tikkis. Since potatoes are everyone's favourite vegetable, this vegetable is an important and major ingredient for making this kind of easy breezy tikkis.


Coming to day's post, this corn aloo tikkis goes for very easy ingredients, sweet corn kernels and mashed potatoes with salt, pepper powder,cornflour and chopped coriander leaves makes this quick and easy tikkis. You doesnt need any other ingredients to make this tikkis, you can add any vegetables of your choice, mix and match your ingredients according to your wish but dont skip potatoes. 4nos Potatoes (pressure cooked)
1/2cup Sweet corn kernels
1/2tsp Pepper powder
2tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
Salt
1tbsp Corn flour
Oil for shallow frying

Mash the cooked potatoes, add in the pepper powder, chopped coriander leaves, sweet corn kernels, corn flour, salt and mix well.

Make small sized tikkis from the mixture.

Heat enough oil in a pan, shallow fry the tikkis until they turns golden brown.

Serve with any sauce.
