Bharwan Bhindi - No Onion No Garlic Stuffed Bhindis

Bharwan bhindi is an irresistible stuffed bhindi or okra dish, this dish is prepared in North India with a simple spice powder filling, slit opened bhindis stuffed with this spice powder filling which is cooked simply in simmer makes this delicious and healthy stuffed Bhindis. As the title says this dish is no garlic and no onion recipes, a best dish to make while fasting.A prefect side dish to enjoy with rotis or parathas of your choice.

I got some super fresh bhindis from India through my mom who came back here after two months stay in India, instead of making curry or gravy with those super fresh bhindis i tried making this simple and delicious stuffed bhindis from Tarla dalal's book, this bhindis came out simply awesome and we loved having it for our lunch along with rasam rice.A very easy side dish to make with bhindis definitely, try once and taste them to know how delicious they are. This post goes  for the CC Challenge of the month.

1/2kg Bhindis/Ladies finger
2tbsp Coriander powder
1/2tsp Chilly powder
1tsp Garam masala
1tbsp Dried mango powder (amchur)
Salt
1tbsp Oil

Slit open the bhindis, take care not to split them.

In a bowl, combine the coriander powder, chilly powder, garam masala, dried mango powder, salt and mix well.

Fill each bhindis with enough masala, keep aside.

Heat the oil in a pan, add the bhindis, cook in slow flame by turning them in between.

Once the bhindis gets well cooked, put off the stove.

Serve with rotis, rice.
