Sandwich, this word itself makes everyone happy at home. Sandwiches can satsify anyone's hungry tummy. Whenever i feel like having something quick, easy and super filling, then i will immediately dish out sandwich. Often easily prepared with simple ingredients, a sandwich can satisfy anyone's tastebuds. However i couldnt resist to prepare a different cheesy masala sandwich with some cooked potatoes and grated carrots. Easy to prepare the filling, you can finish this sandwich very much quickly than you can imagine.
Am running this week's blogging marathon with an interesting theme and my theme for this week's blogging marathon is Cook for One. If am alone at home, i dont hesitate a second to prepare some sandwiches as they are simple to make. When i picked this week's theme aka cook for one, i prepared immediately this lipsmacking sandwich as the filling is very much simple to dish out. Very filling and satisfying, this sandwich stuffed with cheese and a delicious masala will definitely please anyone's tastebuds.
2nos Potatoes (cooked & mashed slightly)
1no Onion (chopped)
1/2cup Grated carrots
1/2tsp Cumin seeds
1tsp Chilly powder
1/2tsp Garam masala powder
Oil
Salt
Few curry leaves
Cheese as per need
Bread slices (as per need)
Heat enough oil,let crack the cumin seeds and curry leaves, add the chopped onions,saute until the onions turns transculent. Add immediately the grated carrots and saute for a while.
Add the garam masala powder,chilly powder,turmeric powder,salt and cook in medium flame, springle some water and cook until the onions gets cooked.
Finally add the mashed potatoes,cook for few more minutes until the masala gets well cooked.
Place the potato-carrot masala inside a bread slice, top it with an another bread slice.
Grill this sandwich with a toaster.
Enjoy warm.
