Almond biscuits, are terribly easy to bake as these biscuits calls for simple ingredients available in your pantry. The texture of this biscuits will definitely makes you happy with a firm outside and soft, chewy middle with an incredible nuttiness. Homemade biscuits are the best, and making biscuits at home calls for an easy preparation as well. Everything goes into one mixing bowl with grounded almonds as star ingredient. Almonds are good source of vitamin E and minerals like Zinc, magnesium and potassium.Coming to this buttery and super nutty biscuits,i skipped the egg here however making biscuits with egg doesn't go for a dozen,just an egg is quite enough to make your biscuits.
These biscuits came out simply prefect, they will be bit soft once its comes out of the oven but trust me once they gets cool, they are just awesome to munch with a cup of milk. These cookies suits prefect for anytime of the day, my kids enjoyed these nutty cookies for their breakfast as well as for their evening snacks. You cant just stop with one, yea these cookies are dangerously addictive. These biscuits suits perfectly to pack anyone's snack box too. These buttery biscuits goes to Bake-a-thon, a baking event am running thrice a week with different baked goodies.
1/2cup All purpose flour
1/2cup Grounded almonds
1/8tsp baking powder
1/2cup Sugar
1/4tsp Salt
1/2cup Butter (melted)
1tsp Vanilla extract
Milk (as per need)
Preheat the oven to 350F..
Mix together the sugar,flour,grounded almonds,baking powder and salt in a large bowl, add gradually the melted butter and vanilla extract.
Now mix everything well,use the milk as per need to form a soft dough.
Make small balls from the soft dough, flatten them as small disc.
Place them over a baking sheet lined over a baking tray, using a fork make some impressions over the flattened disc..
Bake them for 12-15minutes until the edges turns golden brown.
Let them cool completely and enjoy with a cup of tea.
