If you are looking for a simple, interesting and delicious side dish to enjoy with your bowl of rice or as an accompaniment with your rotis, then you should definitely have to check my today's post. Today's post is a simple, quick, delicious stir fry which makes a perfect pair to enjoy thoroughly with your curd rice or else with some hot piping rasam rice. Since this stir fry calls for freshly grounded pepper powder as main ingredient, trust me this stir fry tastes fabulous if you crave for something hot. Mushroom and Potato works together awesome in many dishes and this stir fry is one among them.
Am running this week's blogging marathon with Quick and Delicious Stir fries as theme. Anything gets ready easily and quick is definitely very helpful especially for working mom. Obviously this stir fry is definitely a must to give a try if you are looking for something easy. If you dont like to spice this stir fry with pepper powder, you can add some slit opened green chillies to make this same stir fry bit different. However we had this stir fry with our rotis for dinner and we just loved it.
1cup Button mushrooms (chopped)
2nos Potatos (cubed)
1no Onion (big & chopped)
1tbsp Coriander powder
1tbsp Pepper powder
Salt
Oil
Few curry leaves
1/2tsp Cumin seeds
Heat enough oil in a pan, throw the cumin seeds and curry leaves and fry, now add the chopped onions and cook for few minutes.
Add the chopped mushrooms,cubed potatoes and salt,cook for few seconds, now add the coriander powder, cook everything in simmer for few more minutes.
Springle some water and cook everything in simmer until the veggies gets well cooked.
Finally add the pepper powder finally and cook everything for few more seconds.
Put off the stove and serve hot as side dish.

This is an interesting stir fry, seasoned with just black pepper. Have to try it, looks good.
