Soya beans and soya granules are my favourite and they have their important plae in my pantry. Whenever i ran out vegetables, trust me i can dish out numerous dishes with soya granules. You can cook anything with soya granules not to forget soya beans makes excellent dishes as well. Soya beans are excellent source of proteins and they have numerous nutritional value, its adviced to have soya beans atleast twice a week if you are a vegetarian. Coming to today's dish, this crispy masala dosa goes for a vegan kheema aka soya kheema. Am running my fourth week of blogging marathon and the theme of this week is Indian bread baskets. Dosa are consider as bread and hence am posting this delicious and healthy vegan kheema masala dosa.
Masala dosa are my kids favourite, obviously i love to feed them easily with healthy ingredients. This time when i prepared soya kheema for the stuffing, i know very well that this masala dosa will be a big hit. I wasnt wrong, we had a super filling and definitely a healthy dinner with this crispy soya kheema masala dosa. Since soya kheema goes for a delicious preparation, you doesnt even need anything as side dish and you can just have this dosa simply with the soya kheema or else serve this dosa along with some spicy chutney.Check out the Blogging Marathon page for the other Blogging Marathoners doing BM#49.
For Soya Kheema:
1cup Minced soya granules (cooked)
1/2cup Tomato pulp or chopped tomatoes
1tsp Ginger garlic paste
2nos Green chillies (chopped)
1/2tsp Red chilly powder
1/2tsp Garam masala powder
1tsp Coriander powder
Few chopped coriander leaves
1/2tsp Fennel seeds (crushed)
Salt
Oil
Heat enough oil in a pan, fry the crushed fennel seeds, add immediately the chopped onion,chopped green chillies and ginger garlic paste,saute until the raw smell goes away..
Add the cooked soya granules,salt,red chilly powder,garam masala powder and coriander powder,cook everything in simmer until the masala turns thick..
Finally add the chopped coriander leaves and put off the stove.
For dosa:
Dosa batter (as per need)
Soya kheema
Heat a griddle,spread a ladle of dosa batter thinly and cook in medium flame until the dosa gets well cooked.
Spread the soyakheema over the dosa. Fold the dosa.
Serve immediately.
