If you are searching for a simple, quick, guilt free and an easy breezy snacks, then you should take a look at this baked spicy chickpeas. This chickpeas takes hardly less than 20-25 minutes to get ready, you can simply bake them or else cook them through microwave oven according to your desire. But i opted for oven baking eventhough you can deep fry these spicy chickpeas easily. Instead of deepfrying, i simply baked them. These spicy chickpeas are seriously addictive and you cant just stop munching them if you make these dangerously delicious chickpeas.If you have already cooked chickpeas or canned chickpeas at home, this spicy chickpeas are very easy to make and bake whenever you feel like munching these beauties.
As i told earlier, am running this week's of blogging marathon with Just three ingredients as this week's theme. Obviously these baked spicy chickpeas goes for simple ingredients: already cooked chickpeas, red chilly powder, chaat masala is quite enough to make this lipsmacking chickpeas. The addition of chaat masala gives a mild tangy taste to this spicy chickpeas.If you want to add crushed garlic or fresh herbs just go on, am sure the addition of crushed garlic cloves gives an excellent flavour to this simple but yet an incredible crunchy chickpeas.
3cups Cooked chickpeas
1tbsp Red chilly powder
1tsp Chaat masala
Salt
1tbsp Oil
Take the cooked chickpeas in a large bowl, add the red chilly powder, chaat masala, salt and oil.
Toss everything gently, meanwhile preheat the oven to 350 F.
Line a baking sheet over a baking tray, spread the chickpeas and bake for 20-25minutes.
Dont forget to turn the spiced chickpeas twice in between.
Let them cool completely and munch.
