Baking always makes me happy, whenever i get an opportunity to prepare some baked goodies i dont hesitate a second to bake some. When you get an opportunity to bake and post for a month, who will say 'no', obviously not me. This month is going to be a month of baking, yes am running Bake-a-thon for this month. I will be posting three baked goodies per week, obviously dont forget to visit my space on mondays, wednesdays and fridays. For the first day of this year's bake-a-thon, am posting a dangerously addictive and very flaky flavorsome rich orange danish pastries. Very simple to make, just with three ingredients, you can make this ultimate evening snacks or flaky snacks after a meal with less efforts.
Actually orange zest flavored sugar when drizzled over a puff pastry sheet, rolled or twisted after baking makes this alluring orange danish pastries. With a help of an adult, even a kid can make this incredible pastries. If you are planning to bake this danish pastries dont forget to bake these cuties in a huge batch else you will definitely regret later. An excellent party pleaser as well, kids will enjoy thoroughly this excellent twists. You can still prepare this danish pastries with any filling or spread depending upon your wish. Am planning to bake this dame danish pastries very soon with nutella.
2tbsp Orange zest
1/4cup Sugar
1 Puff pastry sheet
Add the orange zest to the sugar and mix well, keep aside.
Roll the puff pastry sheet as rectangular disc, spread evenly the orange sugar and give a press.
Now cut the puff pastry sheet as long strips.
Gently twist the strips and roll as a snail.
Arrange over a baking tray lined with baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastries turns golden brown.
Let it cool completely.
Munch it with your favourite drink.
