I have a soft corner for salted caramel spread since i have tasted it during our trip to Brittany region in France. This region is quite popular for their crepes and their salted caramel toffees. Obviously whenever our friends make a trip to this region, they never forget to get those salted caramel toffees for us. We just love munching them, but i always want to give a try to a dessert with those salted caramel toffees and this time i prepared this luscious dessert with it. Am running this week's blogging marathon with Are you pudding me? as theme. Hence this ultimate eggless dessert with those toffees, very easy to make, you cant just stop yourself indulging this delicious pudding.
Almost like my previous chocolate milk pudding, this salted caramel pudding calls for cornstarch as thickening agent. Apart from it,nothing much is needed than the milk. No need of sugar as these salted caramel toffees are very much sweet enough to finish this pudding without sugar. Needless to say this pudding tastes absolutely delicious when served chilled. An excellent dessert to enjoy after a meal without any fuss. Give a try, am sure you will definitely fell in love with this fantastic dessert.
2cups Milk
20-25 Salted caramel toffees/ 1/2cup Salted caramel sauce
1tbsp Cornstarch
Bring boil the milk, add in the salted caramel toffees and mix well until the toffees gets melted.
Meanwhile make a thin paste with corn starch and water.
Once toffee gets well mixed. Add this cornstarch paste to the toffee-milk mixture.
Mix well until the mixture turns thick.
Let it cool completely, (take care to stir quite often to avoid the skin forms on the top of the pudding).
Pour this pudding in small serving glasses or bowls.
Arrange in fridge and enjoy chilled.
