Truffles are the most easiest and simplest candy you can make with simple ingredients, the basic ingredients for making this dangerously addictive candies goes for dark chocolate chunks, heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract. But they do exists many versions of truffles, however these ingredients are must to make your own version of truffles. I have already prepared many versions of truffles but somehow i havent blogged about them. However i couldnt resist to make these cuties for this week's blogging marathon, yes i picked Kid's delight-Chocolates as this week's theme.
I have rarely seen Kids saying no to chocolates, obviously if its truffles am sure that they wont ever say 'no' to these cuties. Very easy to dish out, these truffles are my kids favourite, these truffles are dangerously addictive obviously if you plan to make these truffles, dont forget to make a big batch. Not to forget that these truffles are definitely prefect to pack as holiday gifts. Once beautifully wrapped, these truffles can make everyone happy definitely. Give a try and enjoy these truffles.
2cups Semi sweet chocolate (chopped as small pieces)
1cup Heavy whipping cream
1tsp Vanilla extract
Unsweetened cocoa powder (for coating)
Heat the whipping cream in simmer, meanwhile take the chocolate in a bowl.
Pour the cream over the chocolate, add the vanilla and allow to stand for a few minutes, then stir until smooth.
Keep in fridge for atleast 2 hours, i kept mine overnight.
Use a teaspoon to roll out the balls, roll in your hands quickly and place it again in fridge.
Roll in cocoa powder and place in fridge.
Enjoy.
