Vegan Sweetcorn & Bellpepper Pulao
My today's post is a very simple and super flavourful pulao, which you can dish out with less efforts, as this one pot meal doesnt calls for any chopping or grinding. Flavoured simply with garam masala powder, this pulao calls for easy ingredients like corn kernels and diced green bellpepper chunks. Once cooked all together, this pulao makes an excellent lunch or lunchbox friendly meal to pack. Served along with a simple side dish, this pulao will definitely fill some hungry tummies easily.

Couscous Sambhar Bhath/Couscous Sambar Saadham
Since ever i tried this sambhar bhath with couscous, i have prepared already twice as this incredible healthy one pot meal became our family favourite. A small packet of couscous was sitting in my pantry for a while and it was reaching its expiry date soon. Since i dont want to trash them, i thought of finishing them by dishing out an easy, simple and quick version of one pot meal with it. Pressure Cooker Yogurt Chicken Biriyani
Biriyani, this royal dish is everyone's favourite at home. Prepared usually with meats or else with seafoods, this dish is definitely a treat for many hence its usually prepared during festivals, marriages or else for a get together. For us, Sunday lunch calls almost for Biriyanis. Prepared usually in a large pots, biriyanis can be prepared very much easily in pressure cooker as well. My mom makes excellent pressure cooker biriyanis and we love it to the core. Its been a while i prepared pressure cooker friendly chicken biriyani and few days back when i was alone at home i couldnt resist to prepare this easy breezy chicken biriyani as i was craving for some biriyanis.

Kayi Sasive Anna/Mustard Coconut Rice
Kayi means Coconut and Sasive means Mustard in Kanada, hence Mustard coconut rice as this rice have these two ingredients as main ingredient to prepare this alluring rice. Usually prepared with already cooked rice, this mustard coconut rice makes an excellent main dish to serve along with fryums and boiled eggs. Schzewan Chickpeas Rice
Am an ardent fan of Indo Chinese recipes, whenever i get a chance to cook them, i dont hesitate a second to prepare them from scratch. One among the favourite Indo chinese dishes is schzewan fried rice. I do fried rice often but my today's recipe is completely a different one. Instead of usual vegetables, i tried my hands with chickpeas and trust me this nutritious schzewan rice came out simply awesome and everyone enjoyed thoroughly this dish. None at home missed the meat or egg in this rice. When served along with gobi fry, this schzewan chickpeas rice makes an excellent weekend dinner or lunch.

Tomato Pulao
My kids are great fans of one pot meal especially anything with tomatoes, obviously i make quite often their favourite pulao with tomatoes but everytime i make i forget to click a picture to post it in my space. Finally i clicked few pictures just to write about our favourite easy breezy pulao. Tomato pulao gets ready very much easily if you make them through pressure cooker or else simply with a heavy bottomed vessel. Usually i go for pressure cooker method but this time i opted for a heavy bottomed pan and the pulao came out extremely delicious with prefectly cooked basmati rice.

Ragi Semiya Upma/Fingermillet Vermicelli Upma
Upma is one of the easiest and quickest breakfast South Indian dish usually prepared with semolina or rice rava. But this time am posting today this healthy upma with fingermillet vermicelli. Actually during my last trip, i crossed many different and healthy vermicelli with many varieties of millets, obviously i came back home with a couple of millet vermicellis. One among is this ragi semiya aka finger millet vermicelli, actually i make this upma quite often whenever i feel like having semiya upma and completely trying to skip the usual vermicelli. This semiya upma is definitely nutritious and healthy as it is made with ragi aka fingermillet. Eggplant Biryani/Kathirikkaai Biriyani
Sunday lunch, it will always goes for something rich and definitely for a one pot meal. We have almost every sunday, biryanis prepared either with meats, seafoods or else simply with vegetables. If its comes to vegetarian briyani i'll usually go for mixed vegetables biryani, but this time for a change i prepared this wonderful looking eggplant birynai as i want to make something different from the usual ones. This eggplant biryani goes for all the spices we usually go for making non vegetarian briyanis.Biryanis, this one pot meal suits prefectly to anyone's lunch. Obviously one can carry this flavourful dish in their lunch box with a simple side dish.

Egg Vegetable Rice
A quick,simple and prefect lunch box dish is this egg vegetable rice. If you have leftover cooked rice already this colourful egg rice will gets ready in a jiffy. This rice suits prefectly for any ages as they are spiced mildly just with pepper powder. If you want this egg rice to be more spicy and flavourful, some garam masala will make the magic. My mom makes this rice quite often for my sister's lunch box when she was doing her engineering and everytime i'll wait for my share to enjoy for my lunch, coz i dont carry lunchbox to my college.
This easy egg vegetable rice is my daughter's favourite and i'll do atleast twice a month whenever i feel lazy to cook or else my daughter asks for. If you want to make this more interesting,you can also add some cooked,shreded chicken or else simply add some cooked soya nuggets.

Tomato Peas Briyani
I have already told in my earlier post we love one pot meals very much and i do quite often.Sunday lunch is always my favourite, especially if its something quick as one pot meal i wont say no. Most of our sunday lunch goes for briyanis, this weekend H was bit busy with some stuffs and he didnt stayed with us for the lunch. Peppered Coconut Rice
Who will say no to one pot meal, i love easy breezy,quick one pot meals very much. I dont mind cooking them atleast twice a week and everyone at home love one pot meal very much. Coming to today's recipe this peppered coconut rice, is an extremely flavourful,delicious one pot meal which gets ready very much easily. Tempered grated coconut mixed with rice and spiced with freshly grounded pepper powder makes this incredible rice. Serve this peppered coconut rice with papads, am sure you will have a filling lunch.
