Honey Garlic Sauce/Sweet & Sour Honey Garlic Sauce

If you are looking for a sweet and sour sauce, you should take a look at my today's post. My love for Chinese cuisine pulled me to dish out this easy breezy garlic and ginger loaded sauce. This honey garlic sauce is one the easiest sauce can be prepared with less ingredient in an ease. Usually this sauce is used to dish out some stir fries, however i served this sauce as side for some pan fried tofu slices. Its quite like a dipping sauce for any sort of raw vegetables, grilled meats or pan fried vegetables or else with tofu or paneer. Just dip or drizzle this sauce on the top of your favourite food and enjoy this sweet and sour sauce.

Few of my bookmarked recipes are still sitting sadly to give a try at home. Obviously am trying to clear them one by one. I have been planning for the popular General Tso's chicken for a while, but somehow i couldnt able to dish out. But thank god, i tried my hands with Soya paneer aka Tofu recently. Oh my god, what a easy breezy dish to make at home. I simply loved the mix of sweetness, spiciness and sourness in this dish. This dish makes an excellent side dish to serve along with cooked rice or simply sauteed noodles.

Di San Xian - Chinese Stirfried Vegetables

Di San Xian which is literally known as three treasures of the ground, this dish goes for three different vegetables and they are potato, eggplant and green pepper. This stir fried potato, eggplants and green pepper dish aka Di San Xian is a popular dish of North Eastern part of China, as these three vegetables are most easily and the most common vegetables you can find at any market in China. This dish is very much served in Chinese restaurant and they use large pieces of this veggies. I picked this recipe from Omnivores Cookbook and the author of this site shared a healthier way of making this dish. Actually she sliced the potatoes and eggplants as thin slices to deep fry them quickly so that they absorbs less quantity of oil. Also frying with less oil gives them a slightly charred look and tender texture as much as like they are served in restaurant.

Chinese Style Fusion Spaghetti

I love chinese cuisine, since am living in Chinatown chinese products are easily available for me hence i cook often foods with chinese ingredients. Few days back, my kids asked me to make some noodles for their lunch since ran out of noodles i simply replaced the noodles with spaghetti and made this fusion spaghetti dish. Served with a Hoisin sauce and sriracha chilly sauce based sauce, this chinese style fusion spaghetti tastes absolutely fabulous. Spaghetti or noodles however my kids went crazy when they saw this fusion spaghetti. I prepared the sauce with loads of vegetables and chicken breast, if you are a vegetarian just skip the chicken and go for soyachunks or simply tofu for making this same dish.
