Its been a while i blogged about a non vegetarian dish in this space, and this poached egg curry is our family favourite. With usual ingredients and flavored with coconut milk, this poached egg curry is definitely a fingerlicking dish. One can have this curry with a bowl of rice or with some rotis. This poached egg curry can be an excellent party friendly dish if you are planning for a Non vegetarian menu plan for your get together. Very easy and simple to make, this curry makes a prefect pair to serve with mildly spiced pulaos, variety rices or else simply with any sort of Indian flatbreads. I just love this curry with hot steaming rice and i usually call this curry as 2 in 1. Yes this curry doesnt need any side dish to serve with.

Indian cuisine is loaded with many delightful dishes and its one of the flavourful cuisine of the world. From easy to traditional, many varieties of curries and gravies do exists. Am running this week's blogging marathon with Easy Dinner Dishes as theme, and i have been sharing some easy Indian curries for the theme. My today's post is an easy curry which is very simple, quick and delicious to cook with pantry friendly ingredients. This besan curry is my mom's signature dish which she never fail to make whenever she makes pooris for our breakfast or dinner. Rajma Aloo Masaledaar/Kidney Beans & Potato Tomato Curry
Chickpeas and Kidney beans are our favourite legumes and i cant survive without these both beans. Obviously my pantry will always have these both dry beans while my freezer will always have already soaked and frozen beans. I have already shared about how to make frozen beans in few of my posts. And those frozen beans are really handy if you dont have enough time to soak your beans or if you have completely forgotten to soak your beans. Just pressure cook those frozen beans and your beans are ready to cook with. You doesnt even need to thaw those beans. How easy na, i have been following this method since a while and i dont regret for preparing these frozen beans whenever time permits.

Purple Cabbage Thoran/Kerala Style Red Cabbage Stir Fry
Purple cabbage is also known as Red cabbage is a variety of cabbage which is easily available in my nearby farmer's market than the usual green cabbages. You can make ultimate salads with this crunchy cabbage as they works and get mix prefectly to any sort of raw vegetables added to them. Purple cabbage is quite rich in vitamin C, A, potassium and fiber. Somehow i love to dish out our Indian style dals, gravies and stir fries with this cabbage. You can make delicious South Indian style kootu with purple cabbage and everyone at home just love it. Obviously i was lookingt for a chance to cook again with purple cabbage as a Kerala style thoran, and hubby got a purple cabbage head when he went to our favourite farmer's market last week.

Chilly Garlic Sauce/Chilli Garlic Chutney
Am sharing a simple, easy and definitely a flavourful sauce to serve along with some crispy fritters or chinese style rolls. If you are a spicy lover then trust me this absolutely mildly sweet, spicy and aromatic chutney aka sauce will definitely tickle your tastebuds. I have some hot sauce lovers at home, though myself and my younger one like to have some deep fried fritters with tomato ketchup, others at home just love chilly sauces to have with. I have been looking for a chance to make some garlic loaded chilly sauce just to please my spicy sauce lovers since a while. Finally when i picked Dips for snacks as theme for this week's blogging marathon, obviously i couldnt stop myself to gather all the ingredients to dish out some homemade chilly sauce.

Purple Cabbage Ginger Chutney/Muttaikose Inji Thuvaiyal/Cabbage Thogayal
South Indians makes excellent side dish for their breakfast dishes especially for Idlis or dosas. Sometimes we need to think seriously out of the box to please everyone at home. My hubby love to have his idlis or dosas with different sort of chutneys than finishing his meal just with a side dish. Obviously if i plan idlis or dosas, i have to plan atleast more than a chutney to please his tastebuds. Hence i couldnt stop myself to dish out this purple cabbage thuvaiyal aka chutney to serve with dosas. Purple cabbage/Red cabbage you can name them as whatever, but this cabbage is bit expensive than the green cabbage but trust me they stay fresh for a long than the green one. Vegan Onion & Green Capsicum Chutney/Onion Bellpepper Chutney
If you are a South Indian, you might know very well that our favourite South Indian breakfast aka dosas or idlies calls for varieties of side dishes. Obviously we cant stick always with some usual side dish to serve those breakfast dishes. My family loves different side dishes or chutneys if i serve our own South Indian breakfast dishes. Seriously i always look for a new variety of chutney to give a try. And i never forget to mix and match the ingredients according to our tastebuds. One of my recent trial to serve along with dosas is my today's onion and green bellpepper chutney. Sauteed green bellpepper and onions spiced with red chillies and few more spices makes this incredible chutney.

Tawa Paneer Masala/Paneer Tawa Masala
I have rarely seen my kids saying 'no' to paneer, obviously my second post for this week's blogging marathon is an alluring, fingerlicking goodness Tawa paneer masala to serve along either with some pulao or else with rotis. As i told earlier, my kids just love paneer in any form. Obviously i opted to prepare paneer myself at home as they are quite expensive and very less in weight when compared to the homemade paneer. Whenever i feel like cooking with paneer, i prepare paneer at home, not to forget they are freezer friendly as well. Those frozen paneer cubes are very easy to cook with at anytime of the day, yes they are super handy.

Adamant Creeper Chutney/Pirandai Thogayal
Adamant creeper is known as Pirandai in Tamil, have many medicinal benefits and this creeper grows abundantly in India which doesnt need any special care. Obviously this plant can be grown easily in pots at home with less efforts. I have been looking for a chance to cook with this adamant creeper,finally i cooked up few fantastic dishes with it. I have already posted a delicious Rasam with this creeper, and my today's post in an another popular chutney aka thogayal prepared with this super healthy Adamant creeper. An excellent thogayal to enjoy with hot steaming rice served along with spicy side dish, makes a satisfying meal.

Indian cuisine have varieties of pakoras aka crispy deep fried fritters, i have prepared couple of pakoras though i have few to make at home. Finally here is one among those pakoras i have bookmarked few months back from Gayathri's Space is this ultimate crispy double fried onion pakoras. Loaded with onions and chopped coriander leaves, these fritters are seriously addictive to munch with a cup of tea or coffee for your evening snacks. This double fried Sindhi style chickpea flour pakoras are very easy to make. Gluten Free Broccoli & Onion Pakoras
Though i keep myself away from deep frying, weather in Paris makes us to crave sometimes for deep fried fritters. Obviously once a while i dish out some crispy fried beauties either for our snacks or else for starter. Broccoli, this antioxidant rich vegetable is definitely a must in my cooking, i dont forget to add them often in my dishes, though kids are not big fan of this vegetables. Needless to say, i have to think twice to make dishes with broccoli florets. Anything fried is definitely kid's favourite, hence i prepared this fantastic pakoras out of them, as this pakoras are loaded with broccoli and onions.

General Tso's Tofu/Vegan Tofu Kangjung
Few of my bookmarked recipes are still sitting sadly to give a try at home. Obviously am trying to clear them one by one. I have been planning for the popular General Tso's chicken for a while, but somehow i couldnt able to dish out. But thank god, i tried my hands with Soya paneer aka Tofu recently. Oh my god, what a easy breezy dish to make at home. I simply loved the mix of sweetness, spiciness and sourness in this dish. This dish makes an excellent side dish to serve along with cooked rice or simply sauteed noodles.

Bittergourd Peanut Stir Fry/ Pavakkai Verkadalai Masala
Bittergourd, this vegetable is not a favourite of many but trust me its my favourite vegetable since i came to know how healthy this vegetable is. Obviously whenever i go to Indian groceries i dont forget to grab them. Back home, i dont forget to dish them as many delicious dishes out of them. I have been looking for a chance to cook this bittergourd differently since a while and finally i decide to go with this fantastic masala prepared quickly with peanuts. Though this dish will tastes bitter, dont forget to mix this dish with some hot steaming rice and enjoy with papads. You will definitely love this fantastic stir fry.

You can dish out many delicious dishes out of Raw banana aka plantains. My today's recipe calls for an easy breezy preparation. Sorakaya Verusenaga Nuvvula Kura/Bottlegourd Curry with Peanuts & Sesame Seeds
Am a great fan of both bottlegourds and peanuts, obviously if i get a chance to cook with these ingredients how can i hesitate a second to cook with. My today's dish is a delicious Andhra style bottlegourd curry which i crossed here long back and i bookmarked it immediately.. A lipsmacking curry to relish hot with some rice and papads, we loved this super nutty curry very much. Though the main ingredient for making this recipe is bottlegourd, both peanuts and sesame seeds paste is a must to cook this curry which turns this dish more delicious with a fantastic aroma.

Rasawala Bateta Nu Shaak/Rasawala Aloo/Gujarati Aloo Curry
Anything cooked with potatoes will definitely make everyone happy. Dunno why potatoes are our most favourite vegetable, i cant just stop cooking with them. Twice a week, potato curry makes its humble entry in our menu and we just love it. Obviously if i get a chance to cook a different dish with potato i wont miss that chance. I love Gujarati cuisine very much,whenever i love to make a North Indian meal at home, i'll check definitely to make a different dish from this cuisine. I have bookmarked this Rasawala aloo curry from here long back, as this curry aka gravy calls for easy cooking. Very simple to make, this rasawala aloo takes hardly less than 15minutes if you cook this curry in Pressure cooker.
