Eggless Walnut Butter Cookies

Cookies are my lil one's favourite, obviously i never forget to bake cookies just to see the big smile on his face, he is my critic when its comes to cookies. Its festival season here and needless to day dry fruits and nuts started showing their heads in every super markets, i picked last week a packet of walnuts and bake home i tried making this gorgeous looking cookies with them. This buttery and super nutty cookies are quite easy to make, i skipped the egg here however making cookies with egg doesnt go for a dozen, just an egg is quite enough to make your cookies. I simply grounded walnuts and added them to the buttery dough, obviously walnuts plays an important role in these cookies.

These cookies came out simply prefect, they will be bit soft once its comes out of the oven but trust me once they gets cool, they are just awesome to munch with a cup of milk. These cookies suits prefect for anytime of the day, my kids had these nutty cookies for their breakfast and evening snacks. You cant just stop with one, yea these cookies are dangerously addictive. As you know walnuts are healthy and most of the kids hate this brain like nuts. Needless to day sneaking walnuts this way is definitely a best and better option. Just make these scrumptious cookies and enjoy the goodness of walnuts.

Eggless butter cookies with walnuts

1/2cup All purpose flour
1/2cup Grounded walnuts
1/8tsp baking powder
1/2cup Sugar
1/4tsp Salt
1/2cup Butter (melted)
1tsp Vanilla extract
Milk (as per need)

Preheat the oven to 350F..

Mix together the sugar, flour, grounded walnuts, baking powder and salt in a large bowl, add gradually the melted butter and vanilla extract.

Now mix everything well, use the milk as per need to form a soft dough.

Make small balls from the soft dough, flatten them as small disc.

Place them over a baking sheet lined over a baking tray, using a fork make some impressions over the flattened disc..

Bake them for 12-15minutes until the edges turns golden brown.

Let them cool completely and enjoy with a cup of tea..
