Spicy & Easy Guava Salad

This salad was sitting in draft since a long, yep almost a year, i simply tried making this quick, easy and spicy guava salad with unripen green guavas. Those green guavas suits absolutely prefect to make this easy salad with less efforts, apart from chopping guava as thin sliced you doesnt need anything to do,obviously you can make this incredible salad just in few seconds. I had a chance to enjoy Guavas after a long when i was in India last year. Everytime,i miss Guava season there and its been ages i had them, obviously when i saw them in markets, i couldnt resist to get them often until the season ends, thank god i could make some drinks and salad out of this incredible fruit.

Guava Salad, Easy Guava Salad

Needless to say i clicked this Guava salad during my stay in India. This simple salad will definitely makes you happy. Whenever i see these clicks, i feel so nostalgic as this fruits are my favourite. But unfortunately i miss this fruit here, though i get this guava in chinese market they doesnt taste good as much as like those tiny crunchy guavas we get in India. This easy salad is going to be a part of this week's blogging marathon as am running 'Salads' as this week's theme.

Guava Salad, Spicy Guava Salad

2nos Guavas (sliced thinly)
Red chilly powder
Chaat masala
1/2tsp Lemon juice
Salt

Mix the chaat masala, red chilly powder and salt in a bowl.

Take the sliced guavas in a bowl, drizzle the lemon juice and sprinkle the spice powder as per need.

Toss them slightly and enjoy.

This is exactly how I eat my guava, sprinkled with some salt and chili powder. I have not lemon juice. Will try it next time I get them.
