This week's theme for blogging marathon is going to be Christmas candies. Christmas is nearing and its going to be much fun here, we love this period of festivity. This year, we will be celebrating Christmas and New year at our friend's place as we are planning for a get together with other friends since a while. Obviously each and everyone are supposed bring some of their home made dishes to make this get together more delicious. Am planning to make some bakes and some starters to carry. Am eagerly waiting for this day, as its going to be some super fun moments to meet few of our friends who were living in South France. Coming to today's post, am kicking starting this week's theme with a simple yet a nutty, rich, chocolatey and dangerously delicious fudge.
Fudge comes first to my mind whenever i feel like packing something chocolate for my friends as christmasspecial candies . Fudges are seriously very easy to make, quite a kind of child play. You can make varieties of fudges at home with basic and easily available ingredients. I love fudges loaded with chocolate and have already posted couple of fudges in my space, but still i have many to give a try especially with citrus flavors and white chocolate based fudges. Make this cashew nuts loaded chocolate fudge to please your family and friends for this festive season.
1cup Sweetened condensed milk
1cup Dark chocolate pieces (chopped roughly)
1/2cup Cashew nuts (broken as small pieces)
1tbsp Butter
Sugar pearls
In a heavy sauce pan, melt the dark chocolate pieces, butter, condensed milk and stir continously.
Once this mixture gets thicken, remove the pan.
Add the cashew nuts and spread the mixture over a baking sheet lined over a rectangular pan.
Sprinkle some sugar pearls on the top of the fudge and keep aside until the mixture get cooled.
Arrange them in fridge for atleast 2 hours or until firm.
Cut into squares and enjoy it.

Wow, Priya. You are coming up with these kind of tempting desserts here too apart from the main blog. I am feeling envious right now about your energy. I want to just grab those fudge pieces if I can. That is the highest compliment I can give. :)
