Green Guavas, are tropical fruits which is enjoyed in many tropical and subtropical regions. This fruit is low in calories and fats but trust me they have several vital vitamins and minerals. This fruit is also rich source of soluable dietary fiber and not to forget this fruits is an excellent source of antioxidant vitamin C.Fresh ripen guava fruits tastes too best even when they are enjoyed with their skins. You can enjoyed this fruit as salad, cubed or sliced as much as like apples.However guava juice is a popular drink in many parts of the world and this fruits have their natural flavor and unique taste. Obviously this fruits are my all time favourite, and i enjoyed them thoroughly during my stay in India. And without any excuse i tried few drinks out of this ultimate fruit and one among those drinks is this Green Guava Lassi.
Lassi is a popular Indian curd/yogurt based drink which makes an excellent summer drink and its our family favourite. Whenever we feel like having something healthy, refreshing for hot weather i dont hesitate a second to blend some lassi to serve everyone at home. Fruits added to this Indian drink makes excellent summer treat as well. Obviously i love lassi with a blend of fruits, and this Green guava lassi is everyone's favourite at home, when served chilled this lassi tastes absolutely refreshing and delicious. And this lassi is going to this week's blogging marathon as am running this week with 3 ingredients ideas as theme.
3nos Green Guava (chopped)
1cup Yogurt
1/2cup Milk
2tbsp Sugar
1/2cup Water (as per need)
Take the chopped green guave pieces with sugar and water in a blender until its smooth mixture.
Now add the yogurt, milk to the blended mixture and blend everything well.
Serve chilled.
