Gram flour is prepared with chickpeas which is completely gluten free. This flour is extremely rich in proteins when compared to other flours. Besan ka halwa, Gramflour Halwa

1/2cup Gram flour/Besan

Few Chironji (optional)

Heat the ghee, fry the cashew nuts until they gets fried, remove the nuts and keep aside.

Now add the gram flour to the ghee, roast until a nice aroma comes from and the colour gets changed.

Add the sugar, and cook in simmer continously. Now the colour of the gram flour will be brown.

Besan ka halwa

Now add the milk, cardamom powder and cook until the halwa gets off from the vessel.

Add the fried cashewnuts and chironji seeds to the halwa.
