Stuffed with a delicious soya masala, this pan fried buns are prepared easily with less efforts. Obviously these cute bite sized pan fried buns are completely eggless and definitely vegan. Slow cooked in pan, these pan fried buns are dangerously addictive and a prefect crowd pleaser if you want to make a fantastic appetizer for a get together. Though i stuffed this buns with a simple spiced minced soya masala, you can stuff this buns with your favourite fillings in it.
Am running this week's blogging marathon with Bite sized appetizer as theme, these mini buns suits prefectly for theme. Though these buns are cooked in a warm pan, they tastes extremely delicious. If you feel to steam cook this same buns, you can still steam cook them in a steamer and trust me those steamed version buns tastes fabulous as well as much Chinese steamed buns. Give a try to this easy breezy stuffed buns if you want please your tastebuds with some spicy buns.
3cups Bread flour/All purpose flour
1tbsp Instant yeast
1/2tsp Sugar
1/2tsp Salt
1/4cup Olive oil
Sesame seed for topping
Take the flour, olive oil, salt in a large bowl, add the instant yeast and gradually add luke warm water to knead everything.
Knead well until the dough turns soft and smooth. Coat a bowl with olive oil, place the soft dough, wrap it and let it sit in a warm place for an hour.
Once the dough gets doubled, punch the dough and knead for few minutes.

Divide the dough into small pieces (15-20 balls).
Filling/
1Cup Soya chunks (cooked & grounded)
1no Onion(big & chopped)
1tsp Red chilly powder
1/2tsp Garam masala powder
1tsp Coriander powder
Few curry leaves
Salt
Oil
1/2tsp Cumin seeds
Heat enough oil,let crack the cumin seeds, add immediately the chopped onions, curry leaves, sauté until they turns transculent.
Add now the grounded soya chunks, red chilly powder, garam masala powder, salt and coriander powder, sauté everything for few minutes.
Cook everything in simmer,put off the stove and let them get cool completely.
Dust with the dough balls with flour and roll them as circles, now gently put some already prepared soyachunks masala in the center.
Bring the sides together and seal well. , press the dough gently to flatten it.
Heat enoough oil in a pan, drop the rolled buns and cook on both sides until they gets well cooked.
Enjoy warm.
