Spiced Grilled Corn on the Cob

Corn on the cob is my all time favourite snack, i just love to munch them with Indian spices, the best grilled corns i have fallen in love  completely was those grilled corns we get from roadside vendors in Kodaikanal. While the weather is chilled, these freshly grilled corns will definitely keeps you warm. Am sure whoever visited Ooty and Kodaikanal, popular two beautiful touristic places of Tamilnadu will definitely confirm it. I have been looking for a chance to make some grilled corns with Indian spices for a while. Everytime i get these corns on the cob, we finish them either by pressure cooking or else by roasting them in oven. But this time without any fail, i grilled some corns on the cob just to satisfy my crave.

Grilled corn on the cob, chaat masala grilled corn

Coming to my today's post, its quite a simple post which is seriously very easy to make. I used our Humble indian spice powder aka Chaat masala to give a zing to this usual grilled corn on the cob. With a cup of tea or coffee, this grilled corn is quite enough to finish your evening snack happily. Though i used chaat masala you can still go for a combination of spice powders like chilly powder, garam masala powder etc to mix and match according to your tastebuds. However i sticked with chaat masala, salt and butter. Yes these three works awesome together and we simply loved this grilled corns. Am running this week's blogging marathon with 3 ingredients ideas as theme and obviously this grilled corn is going to be a part of this theme.

Spiced grilled corn on the cob

3 Ears of fresh corns

Remove the strings and husk from the corn.

Grill the corn on open gas flame at medium high flame, grill the corns evenly.
