Hyderabadi Fine Biscuits

Hyderbadi Fine Biscuits, these flaky biscuits are quite popular in many cafes in Hyderbad. These flaky biscuits sounds as much as like Palmiers or Elephant ears biscuits. And the best part of this biscuits, you just need 3 ingredients, yes you heard it rite. Just a puff pastry sheet, sugar and some flour is quite enough to prepare these utterly delicious and dangerously addictive biscuits. Actually i have bookmarked these biscuits from Usha's space. Quite a quickest biscuits as well to prepare and bake if you have puff pastry sheets in fridge or in your freezer. My kids went crazy when i served these biscuits for their snacks and they kept on munching. Hence i finished baking these biscuits with two puff pastry sheets.Sending this to Srivalli's Kid's Delight event, guest hosted by Ritu themed on Movie Time Munchies.

Hyderabadi Fine biscuits

Even a kid can bake these biscuits easily with an adult's help as its quite an easiest biscuits that one can roll out and bake. Am running this week's blogging marathon with Kid's Delight - Movie time munchies as theme, hence these flaky biscuits are going for the theme. Kid's approved that this biscuit is one the best biscuits i have baked. Since puff pastry sheets are easily available for us, its quite an easy job for us. In case if you dont get puff pastry sheet, dont forget to try your hands with the traditional way of preparing puff pastry sheets at home. Dont forget to bake these biscuits without any fail.

Hyderabadi Fine Biscuits, Fine Biscuits

1 puff pastry sheet
4tbsp Sugar
Flour for dusting

Dust and roll the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface.

Roll tightly the puff pastry sheet as a log, slice the rolled log as medium sized pieces.

Dust those pieces and roll as oblong shaped discs.

Take the sugar in a plate, drop the rolled discs and coat them well with the sugar.

Hyderbadi Eggless Fine Biscuits

Place the sugar coated puff pastry discs on a baking sheet lined over a baking tray.

Preheat the oven to 350F, baked for 8-10 minutes, until the biscuits turns golden brown.

Remove from the oven.

Let it cool completely, conserve them in an air tightened box.

Munch with your favourite drink.

Whenever I make puff pastry, I find it difficult to use up the sliced out parts. I guess making these cookies would be a wonderful way to finish it off. As we don't get ready puff pastry here, I need to wait until I make it at home. The cookies look so yum..
