Vegan Grilled Masala Vegetables

I have been posting some delicious grilled vegetarian dishes for the post two days as my theme for this week's blogging marathon is Vegetarian grilling. After a lipsmacking mustard cauliflower steak, and some delicious cheese potatoes, my today's post goes to some Indian spiced grilled vegetables. Indian spices added to any vegetables makes some fantastic dishes and this grilled masala vegetables is definitely a must try if you love Indian spices. You can enjoy this very less oil, spiced and vegan grilled vegetables simply with a bowl of rice or as accompaniment with some rotis or breads. You can adjust the spice level of this grilled vegetables depending upon your tastebuds. I went with a simple Indian spice mixture which calls for red chilly powder,pepper powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder and fennel seed powder.

This spice mix when added to a couple of healthy vegetables, once grilled makes an excellent healthy vegan dish to enjoy without any fuss. This hassle free grilled vegetables is quite an awesome dish to prepare as this dish calls for an easy breezy preparation. This Indian version grilled vegetables can be prepared with any vegetables, though my choice was Zucchini, Red & Green bellpeppers. I enjoyed thoroughly grilling this Indian spiced vegetables easily through my electric griller and not to forget even my family loved having this masala vegetables when i served them with hot piping rasam rice.

Vegan Grilled Masala Vegetables

2cups Zucchini (sliced thinly)
1cup Red & Green Bellpepper (sliced)
1/2tsp Red chilly powder
1/2tsp Pepper powder
1/2tsp Garam masala powder
1/4tsp Cumin seed powder
1/2tsp Fennel seed powder
Salt

Mix all the spice powder together in a small bowl and keep aside.

Add this spice mix to the sliced vegetables as per need and toss everything gently.

Heat the vegetable grilled, brush the grill with olive oil and drop the slices of vegetables one by one to the griller.

Grill them for 10minutes with lid closed.

Gluten free grilled vegetables

Once the vegetables gets well grilled, remove and grill the remaining vegetables.

Serve warm with rice or rotis.
